Depression and anxiety are very common in todays's society. The World Health Organization says 1 in 13 globally suffer from anxiety. Many people with anxiety also have co-occurring depression. The good news is that these conditions can be treated effectively with therapy.
Life is all about change, yet not all changes are welcome. We must face these unwelcome challenges all the time. How do we re-balance, re-position ourselves? How do we integrate these difficult experiences into our identity? Counseling is one way to figure this out.
We humans are wired to survive and thrive through safe and meaningful connections with one another. Sometimes it's extremely painful. Various types of therapy, like individual, couple or family, can provide support, understanding and guidance for solving life's most difficult problems.
